The hissy fit in question involved the close-to-the-media leadership forum hosted by the Ontario wing of the Liberal Party. Bob Rae refused to participate unless the forum was opened to the media. The format did not change and Bob Rae didn't appear, and most observers, such as former Paul Martin communications director Scott Reid, agree that Bob Rae accomplished little, except to embarrass himself:
Shrewd use of the airwaves — coupled with social media tools - can give momentum to a trailing candidate and put the frontrunner on the defensive. However, the campaigns will have to pick their spots. Mr. Rae's team overplayed its hand with the LPC(O) boycott and it backfired.
So now we have a website (perhaps) dedicated to what exactly? Keeping this story alive? I'm not sure you can get much mileage on this for much longer, especially since, as far as I know, there was no film clip of Bob Rae sputtering in rage.
So maybe the person registering this domain is a bit late to take proper advantage of that news story. Or maybe there is an audience for a story that is quickly fading.
Or maybe the people behind this domain know something I don't. Maybe issue hurt Bob Rae worse than I think. Maybe these people hope, or suspect, that Bob Rae isn't finished throwing hissy fits.
